Savills Seattle

Project

Position firm’s newly established Seattle office as a trusted and consequential competitor in the marketplace.

Client

Savills

Challenge

The Seattle office market was extremely competitive, driven by the explosive boom in the technology sector. Successfully representing tenants in leasing or acquiring space – essential to companies’ growth and talent attraction strategies – required smart, strategic, and client-centric advisors. Our role was to establish Savills Seattle as a preeminent, trustworthy, and tenacious firm, and support the office’s business development efforts.

Solution

We implemented multiple and complementary marketing initiatives, including media relations, thought leadership, client communications, and event sponsorship and participation. All of the messaging emphasized the office principals’ extensive experience and exclusive focus on tenant advisory services, as well as Savills excellent reputation and national and international resources. Successes included significant media coverage in such publications as The Seattle Times, Bloomberg, and Seattle Business Journal; development of marketing materials on the real estate challenges facing tech start-ups; and introductions to the top 50 companies comprising Seattle’s “mid-market.”
